I never thought I would see this in my life time, and it's a blessing that my mother who is 91 was able to witness this in her life time.

I am feeling "proud."

Proud:  that I, and my country, have now, a President and leader that is very smart, highly competent, trustworthy, and decent.

Proud:  that this supremely able man appears to be imbued with "truly" Christian principles, (Matt 25:40 -whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me).

Proud: that we have a president with a mind capable of making practical decisions and compromises to serve and elevate the least among us and to put us on track to eventually realize the ideals set forth in our original declaration.

Proud:  that despite all of the dishonest and hateful rhetoric we witnessed during the campaign,  the people of our country, did indeed, choose someone based on the "content of his character."

Very Proud!

WOW! I'm so proud and excited that we are moving into this new era...change has come! I'm sorry that my parents and my oldest sister are not here to witness it.

How wonderful that the leader of the free world is a powerful yet prayerful man who cherishes his family and holds on to his faith. The President's Inaugural address was so eloquent and profound. He brings reality to the tasks at hand.  We have been put on notice that "business as usual" is over. The work we've done to make this day possible was worthwhile. Let's work just as hard to support his efforts.

I am feeling proud and elated that I lived to see the day an
African-American man was sworn in as President of the United
States.  I wish him all luck in the world, and hope that the
People of the United States back him up.  Praise be to God.

Very proud and blessed to be alive to see this history unfold.  I just know I am over joyed with the works of God.  I am Extremely overwhelmed with seeing a President in the White House that truly has the peoples interest at heart.  Not to think about what he walked into, but to see  how he's doing a great job to clean up.  He should be commended, respected and supported.
